Permaculture is a design tool and framework for creating ecologically sound spaces and communities. Through low-tech applications that go beyond gardening and food harvesting, permaculture uses a whole-systems approach to show the connections between people and the earth. Inherent in permaculture are a collection of sustainability practices and techniques that can easily be applied to everyday life.

SJC’s new partnership with Beyond Organic Design (BOD) brings lead educators Monica Ibacache and Rachel Blalock to Jersey City to spearhead our Permaculture For Kids! initiative and future community education workshops on Permaculture. Learn more about this whole systems design framework which is applicable to ALL COMMUNITY PROJECTS.

Open Meeting – all are welcome including Parents & Teachers.
